2007 – A 400 tonne tower crane is installed on site to allow steel work

began on G1 Glasgow in the summer of 2006, demolishing the internal structure
of the building, and retaining the front A listed Victorian facade.
Principal contactor McLaughlin
& Harvey moved on site in April 2007 to begin construction. This section
provides information and images showing the current progress of the development,
which is scheduled to be ready for occupation in September 2009.
