Square The lively heart of Glasgow, George Square is the city’s
most important civic space and a strategic business location. Visitors and Glaswegians
gather here to celebrate New Year, listen to music during summer lunchtimes, to
buy paintings at the annual art fair, to see and be seen. The
square is less than two minutes walk from Buchanan Street and Argyle Street, just
two of Glasgow’s premier retail centres. On the north side of the
Square, Queen Street train station links Glasgow to Edinburgh, with a train departing
every fifteen minutes. The City Chambers, the seat of local government and an
impressive symbol of Glasgow’s political strength and historical wealth.
Glasgow is a city where business people prefer to walk from meeting
to meeting, taking advantage of the compact Central Business District. Locating
in George Square puts the entire City on your doorstep. | |
